19th Edition of Smile For The Camera -- Gift

It was Christmas 1975. Obviously my favorite gift that year was my tape recorder. I had a lot of fun with that. My friend Lisa and I used to record our selves singing to songs and have our parents guess which one was me, and which one was her. Boy what patience they had. I don't think I could have sat still for that. You can see some of my other gifts lined up against the wall there. The game of Clue, Split Level Aggravation, and a Helen Reddy Record (no, I didn't ask for it!). Actually, I think the best gift that year was sister's dog Sparky. You can see him there singing into my tape recorder. He was the best dog! He used to tell me stories and sing me songs, I loved his voice. When I did something to make him mad (don't know what that could have been) he ignored me. I would cry until he started talking to me again. What -- are you having a hard time believing that Sparky talked to me? Okay, it was really my sister doing all the talking, but boy did she bring him to life!
And folks, Sparky still lives ==>
